Intakes
The academic year in Canada varies between provinces and
institutions. Major intakes for studying in Canada are the Winter intake
i.e.
January and the Fall intake i.e. September. Furthermore, a limited number of
specialized programs are offered in the summer session that commences in
May.
English Language Requirements
All students must be fluent in English, as most courses are
taught in it, if they are to succeed at university in Canada. A band score
of
6.0+ for an undergraduate program and 6.5+ for a postgraduate program in the
IELTS examination or its equivalent is desirable.
Provinces
Canada has 10 provinces with each one having its separate government. The
education within each province is handled by its own government so rules and
regulations may vary. However, all standards are kept extremely high and in
accordance with a set national standard. Canada’s provinces are Ontario,
